Bleaching

There are three different options for bleaching:

  1. Take-home pre-fabricated trays -- These are the least expensive because they are "one-size fits all" trays. They offer the lowest concentration of bleaching agent.
  2. Take-home custom trays -- Molds of the teeth are taken and custom trays fabricated to fit each patient's mouth specifically. Custom trays allow a higher concentration of bleaching agent to be applied directly to the enamel.
  3. Zoom 2 Advanced Whitening -- An "in-office" procedure that takes about an hour. The gums and soft tissue are isolated and a high concentration of whitening agent is applied to the enamel. A special light activates the whitening agent. This is the fastest way to achieve whitening. It also includes a set of take-home custom trays.

Veneers

Veneers are thin pieces of tooth-colored porcelain which are bonded directly over the tooth. They can reshape, change angulation, and alter the color of the teeth.

Esthetic Bonding

Esthetic bonding involves the application of a thin layer of tooth colored filling material placed directly over the surface of the tooth. It rarely requires removal of healthy tooth structure and is reversible. Bonding is used when a patient requests a more conservative and less expensive option than veneers, or if cosmetic enhancement involves minor changes to only a few teeth.
